About us · Barcelona wedding planners

Dear couple,

At Les Recettes, every wedding is accompanied personally by Bruno Bonnier, founder and coordinator of Atelier Bonnier. He is your first point of contact and the person who runs each celebration from beginning to end, alongside Aldara and Cinthia, your planners on the ground in Barcelona.

Every love story deserves a wedding that is perfectly planned and beautifully carried out. That is what we do at Les Recettes, for couples who want something intimate, personal and unmistakably theirs.

From the first bite to the final timeline, we handle every detail. Whether it's twelve guests on a vineyard terrace or a grand evening by the sea, your celebration will feel effortlessly yours.

Wedding catering in Barcelona

Your menu, part of your love story.

Les Recettes is a boutique catering and wedding planning studio. Your menu, your timeline and your styling are designed together, by one team, so your celebration feels effortlessly yours.

Dinner by the pool, designed and served by one team.

We create weddings with a distinct identity. Every menu is personal: we craft gastronomic experiences that tell your love story through flavour, turning a traditional wedding menu into an emotional narrative.

Because catering and coordination sit under one team, everything stays in sync. Design and cuisine are aligned from the first idea, the timeline is built around the service, and you deal with a single provider instead of a dozen. That also keeps your budget and logistics under control.

When you visit Barcelona, menu tastings and wine tastings can be part of your planning trip. And for destination weddings, we coordinate the whole weekend: the welcome party the day before, the wedding day itself, and the brunch the morning after.

“From the first bite to the final timeline, we handle every detail.”

Les RecettesWhere we plan

Where we plan weddings

Barcelona, and everywhere around it.

Your guests fly into one airport, Barcelona–El Prat, and everything else is within an easy drive. These are the settings couples ask us for most.

  • Barcelona city

Rooftops over the Gothic Quarter, courtyards and modernist buildings, for couples who want the city itself in the photographs.

  • Costa Brava

Cliffs, coves and sea-view terraces an hour north of the city. Our most requested setting for a ceremony at golden hour.

  • Penedès vineyards

Cava country, 45 minutes from Barcelona. Long tables between the vines and dinners that run late into the night.

  • Girona & the Empordà

Medieval villages, masías and farmhouses with old stone courtyards, for intimate weddings of twenty to eighty guests.

  • Sitges & the coast south

Whitewashed streets and beach clubs, easy for guests staying in the city and ideal for a welcome party.

  • Further afield

Montserrat, the Pyrenees and beyond. If you have somewhere in mind in Spain, tell us and we'll tell you honestly whether it works.

Les RecettesFAQ

Ask the planners

Your questions, answered.

Something we haven't covered? Send us a WhatsApp and a real person will reply.

WhatsApp us
Q.We live abroad. How does planning work?

A.Almost all of our couples plan from overseas, and our destination planning page explains exactly how it works. We work by video call, email and WhatsApp in your time zone, and we act as your local office in Barcelona, visiting venues, meeting vendors and handling contracts for you. When you fly in for tastings or site visits, we go with you.

Q.Can we legally marry in Spain?

A.Many international couples complete the legal paperwork at home and celebrate with a symbolic ceremony here. It's simpler and gives you complete freedom over the setting, the officiant and the words. We'll talk through your options on your discovery call.

Q.How far ahead should we book?

A.For the Bespoke Recipe, 12–18 months is ideal. For the Signature Recipe, around 9–12 months. The Base Recipe can be booked from 6 months out. Dates in May, June, September and October fill quickly, so check yours early.

Q.Where do you plan weddings?

A.In Barcelona and across Catalonia: the Costa Brava cliffs, the Penedès vineyards, Girona's medieval villages, Sitges, the Empordà and more. Barcelona–El Prat has direct flights from several US cities.

Q.Are you English-speaking?

A.Yes. We work with you in English from the first call to the wedding day, and we deal with venues and vendors in Spanish and Catalan on your behalf. Nothing gets lost in translation, and your guests are looked after in English too.

Q.What does a wedding in Barcelona cost?

A.Our planning packages start at €1,200 + VAT for day-of coordination, €1,800 + VAT for partial planning and €3,500 + VAT for full planning, and décor is quoted separately on your concept. The rest of your budget depends on your guest count, the venue and the season. On your discovery call we'll give you an honest estimate for the wedding you're describing, before you commit to anything. Our guide to what a wedding in Barcelona costs breaks down every line.

Q.When is the best time of year to get married in Barcelona?

A.May, June, September and early October give you long, warm evenings without the peak-summer heat, which is why those dates book first. July and August are hot at midday but work beautifully with a late-afternoon ceremony and a dinner that starts at sunset. Spring and autumn also tend to be kinder to your budget.

Q.Do you also handle catering and décor?

A.Yes, and it's what makes us different. As part of the Atelier Bonnier family, our catering, bar and décor teams work alongside your planner. Décor collections pair with any package and are quoted on your concept. More about our wedding catering.

Q.What isn't included in the packages?

A.Vendor fees for florals, music, sound & lighting, hair & makeup, photography & video, décor and rentals are separate. We source, negotiate and manage all of them, often at better local rates than you'd find alone.
