What we collect, and why
Only what you type into the enquiry form: your names, email, phone number if you give one, where you live, your wedding date, guest count, the package and extras you are interested in, your budget range if you choose to say, your message and how you found us.
We use it for one thing: to reply to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to plan your wedding. We do not sell it, we do not share it with other couples or vendors without asking you first, and we do not add you to a newsletter.
Legal basis: your consent when you send the form, and the steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (article 6.1.a and 6.1.b GDPR).
What we measure
The site counts how many enquiries arrive and how many people click WhatsApp or the email address. That counter stores the type of action, the language of the page, the package and guest range selected, the country your request came from and the site that referred you. It does not store your name, email, phone number or IP address, and it sets no cookies for this.
The only cookie this site sets is lang, which remembers whether you chose English or Spanish. It expires after a year and contains nothing else.
Who else processes it
- Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting and database. Data is stored in Cloudflare's European data centres.
- Our email provider — delivers the notification of your enquiry to our inbox.
Both act as processors under contract with us. Where a provider is outside the European Economic Area, the transfer relies on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are kept for up to two years, because couples often come back a season later, and then deleted. If you become a client, we keep what we need for the contract and for the periods Spanish tax and commercial law require.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, limit what we do with it, send it to you in a portable format, or object to our using it. Write to bonjour@brunobonnier.com from the address you contacted us with and we will deal with it within a month.
If you are not happy with how we handle it, you can complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es).
